  • We also don't care too much for arguing about the 360 being better than the PS3, or slating the Wii as being only for kids.
  • In our hands we are likely to be gaming on an iPhone 4 or a Droid, as a iPad2 may be there one day then swapped for a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 the next day.
  • You see we are all about the gaming experience and the hardware its on always comes second to us; its all about the game and its always about the game.

So that is our introduction and should give you a flavor about what to expect around here. We are gamers by passion and design; that's what a 187 Gamer is all about my friend.

So what are 187 Gamers getting excited about?

For us, the biggest excitement was we move towards Fall 2011 is the most anticipated game of the year, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3.

We love the COD series and the early reveal trailer on Youtube looks as amazing as we would hope and expect from such a great team of developers.

Will we be playing it in earnest as soon as its released? You can bet that will be the case; we'll be booking days off work, school or college to play this one. The 187 Gamers clan knows a good reason to be taking a sly day off, be it a legit booked in advance leave or a cheeky little sick day. You betcha we'll be gaming dude!

It cannot just be Modern Warfare 3 getting the 187 Gamers excited?

You know that right? There is a lot to love and spend our hard earned money on as we move into Fall 2011, so lets look at the rest of the crop aside from COD Modern Warfare 3.

  1. Resistance 3 - probably one of the best PS3 games is back with the 3rd in the series and I'll level with you it looks sick!
  2. Gears of War 3 - do we love Gears of War? Do bears poop in the woods? Is the Pope a Catholic? Man we love Gears of War so much it hurts and GOW3 is going to be awesome.
  3. RAGE - Have you seen the videos for this yet? It looks dark and deadly, sure to get our Rage on!
  4. Batman: Arkham City - The caper one is back and he's doing what he does best, which is kicking ass.
  5. Battlefield 3 - That said, even Batman is going to have to take a backseat once Battlefield 3 drops. I'm talking turn the phones off, drop out of Skype, quit Facebook, sign out of Twitter, kill your Steam connection... Battlefield 3 is coming and its going to hit you hard for days, weeks and maybe even months!
  6. Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception - By now, like us you must be thinking when I am going to be able to play all this stuff? You'll find a way as Uncharted 3 drops and extracts more money from your pocket
  7. COD Modern Warfare 3: Sure we said we wouldn't mention it again, but we can't help it!

It doesn't even stop there, there are loads more games being released on the run up to Christmas and the holiday season, but it wouldn't be right for the 187 Gamers to get you too excited right?
